How to Have an Effortless Glow Up Before the New Year

You can wait for the new year to start, or you can enter 2026 at your full potential.

  1.  Lower impact/shorter workouts: more is not more!

If you've been doing HIIT workouts 6x/week in an attempt to get into fitness but all you feel is inflamed and exhausted, you might need to rethink your strategy. Less is more when it comes to toning up. For more guided workouts and short effective routines you can follow at home, you can subscribe to my platform and get access to all my favourite workouts.

  1. 80/20 whole foods diet: but actually stopping at 20%…

A diet thats 80% healthy, whole foods (think: vegetables, fruit, unprocessed proteins, whole grains, nuts/seeds, legumes) and 20% fun foods (think: whatever foods you enjoy, treats for your soul). Prioritize filling up on a healthy diet and enjoy fun foods in moderation for a balanced lifestyle.

  1. Walking everywhere: not a step count, transportation

Instead of thinking of another chore to add to your list (10,000 steps), take every opportunity to walk. Take a 10 minute walk when you wake up in the morning to energize and clear your mind for the day ahead. When you have somewhere to be, walk the 30 minutes instead of driving 10. If you're not in a walkable city, use walks as a social hour (think: walk + coffee chat with your friend).

  1.  Posture exercises: connection to the core, glutes, + postural back muscles

Your posture is the first thing people notice about you, and yet so neglected. For better posture you need to build strength in the muscles that support your body and alignment. You can subscribe to my platform to follow along with all my posture workouts, with light weights or no equipment. You will feel taller, stronger, and more aligned without ever stepping into a gym.

  1.  Mindfulness + spirituality: small daily practices that shift your energy

Even a minute or two of daily reflection can transform how you approach your day. I started with the Jewish morning prayer Modeh Ani each day, but mindfulness can take many forms such as journaling, meditation, or simply noticing how you feel. Consistency over intensity is the secret here.

  1. Cooking at home more: healthy recipes that i genuinely love and make me glow from the inside out

You won't be able to enjoy takeout the same way when you realize how much better home-cooked meals are. My simple formula: 1/4 plate protein, 1/4 plate healthy carb, 1/2 plate vegetables, 1 heaping spoonful of healthy fats. Focus on recipes you actually love, meals that make you feel energized, satisfied, and nourished.

You do not need a complete life overhaul to step into the new year feeling amazing. Focus on less stress, more connection to your body and mind, and the small daily rituals that make you feel vibrant. When you show up for yourself this way, the glow is not just skin deep it radiates from within.
