Crispy Chickpeas

The recipe I use when I want a crunch but want protein and fiber to keep me full and feeling good.


  • 1 can chickpeas

  • 1 teaspoon olive or avocado oil

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin

  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

  • pinch of black pepper


  1. Preheat oven to 425 F

  2. Rinse and dry chickpeas

  3. Toss chickpeas in oil and spices

  4. Bake in an even layer ~30 minutes or until crispy

  5. Try not to eat a whole can of chickpeas in one day (warning: hard)
