Quick Pickled Onions

For when your meal needs a pop of pink.


Ingredients:

  • 3 red onions

  • 1.5 cups white vinegar

  • 1.5 cups boiling water

  • 2 teaspoons salt

  • 1 teaspoon sugar ( I use honey, maple syrup, or coconut sugar)


Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large container or jar

  2. Let sit at room temperature for 30 minutes

  3. Eat right away or let sit in fridge for at least 24 hours for best taste
